The symposium “A multidisciplinary view of prisons: the human rights of prisoners” will be held at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra on the 15th, 16th and 17th of October 2018 as part of the 3rd Coimbra International Conference on Human Rights: a transdisciplinary perspective. This lecture will later be published as a chapter in a collective work.
The deadline for the submission of proposals is September 9, 2018.
The languages that will be used in this symposium are Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
There is a limit of 10 papers that can be accepted by the coordinators of the symposium. We aim at selecting the best proposals to build a chapter on a collective work, outside the context of the conference, to be published in print. The publisher is willing to make the chapter available in open access format after an embargo period.
